The Brazilian Anatel Approval refers to the approval of telecommunications products.
Anatel Approval is divided into mandatory and voluntary approval. Its approval procedure is the same for domestic and foreign products in Brazil. If a product is subject to compulsory approval, the test results and reports of the product must be consistent with the rules and regulations adopted by Anatel. A product must obtain an authorization certificate issued by Anatel before it can be put into use.
